If Canvas Workspace Resizes the SVG Template

These are the warnings that will pop up if the template was too large for Workspace.
(The left is the PC version. The right is the online version.)

SVG templates longer than 12 inches just need the Artboard changed to 12×24 if using the PC version or the Project Size changed to 12×24 if using the online version.

Templates wider than 11.72 inches when all pieces are grouped together will have an FCM version for you to use. If you choose to use the SVG version you can find the total template width listed in the lower product description on the product page, or you can also check our Template size chart.

How to Change The Artboard Size for Longer SVG Templates

**Templates that are smaller than 11.72 inches wide but longer than 12 inches just need the Artboard or Project size changed to 12×24. You can still cut on a 12×12 mat, (unless the template specifies it needs larger paper.) You just need to change the size to open the templates.

  • PC Version – Choose the Artboard Panel to the right.
  • Click the drop down menu and select 12×24.
  • Then Import the template.
  • Online Version – Select the Project Menu at the top.
  • Select 12×24.
  • Then Import the template
