How To Assemble SVG Ornament Gift Box Sets

This tutorial will show you how to assemble the SVG Ornament Gift Box Sets. This includes all sizes for the ball ornaments (bauble ornaments) and the disc ornaments. Each box was created for ornaments from Michaels unless specified. The sets can be resized if your ornament dimensions are close to those listed. SVG Ornament Gift Box Sets

Includes:
Digital SVG template to create a 3D box base with
SVG template for an ornament support,
Digital SVG template to create a 3D solid lid for storing the ornament.
SVG template to create a 3D window lid with a decorative panel.
*FCM templates are no longer needed for Canvas Workspace. The SVG templates work without issues. However, I have included the FCM format for larger templates, so you do not have to worry about sizing restrictions when importing the files.

Assembly of the SVG Box Base and Lid

Most of the SVG box bases and lids use our “Main” SVG template, so assembly will be the same.
The Large Ball Ornament Gift Box uses the 2 Piece B Template. Assembly instructions can be found here.
The X Large Ball Ornament Gift Box uses the 3 Piece Template, found here.

Cut the templates using a cutting machine or scissors.
Fold on all the dotted guide lines to create creases.
Place glue and / or two sided tape on the outside of the small tabs.
Adhere the tabs to the inside of the adjacent sides.

Assemble SVG Ornament Support

Fold on all the dotted lines to create creases.
Place glue and / or two sided tape on the small tabs.
Adhere the tabs inside the completed 3D box base along one small side.
Place the metal tip of the ornament in the slit of the support panel.

Decorative Panel for SVG Window Box Lid

The set comes with two lids. One solid lid for storing ornaments, and one window lid for displaying ornaments. The decorative panel is an optional decoration for the SVG window lid. Simply glue the decorative panel in the center of the window lid.
