DIY – How to Create Your Own Barbie Doll Furniture from SVG Box Templates

This page was created because my daughter was looking for barbie doll furniture.  What she found was a bit out of her price range, so we decided to make our own.  The best part is now we can change the styles as my daughter’s styles change.  Once you purchase the template you can change the looks as often as you like, and you are not out any extra money.  (Other than for the materials or course.)  Plus, you can size the furniture for what you need.

Barbie Doll Dresser

SVG / FCM Bank of Drawers as Barbie Doll Dresser

Use our SVG Bank of 5 Drawers made from 4x3x1 Drawers (The decorative panels are included.)
OR
To Make Different Size Dressers:
1. Select any of our Drawer sets
2. Cut as many drawers as you would like
3. Assemble the individual drawer sets (CLICK HERE FOR WRITTEN AND VIDEO ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE DRAWERS.)
4. Glue the outside of the drawer sets on top of each other
5. Cut a square to cover the top of the stack of drawers. It should measure the same dimensions
as the outside of the drawer set. (Example: I used the 4x3x1 Drawer set, so the top was 4×3)
6. Measure the sides of your bank of drawers.
The width should be the same as the drawer set, but the height will vary depending on the total number of drawers.
Cut two rectangles to match your dimensions.
Example: The set I used had 3 inch sides. I used 5 drawers, so my height was slightly over 5 inches.
7. Cut one rectangle for the back of your bank of drawers.
It should be the same as the front width from your drawer set. (Example: The set I used had 4 inch fronts)
The height should be the same as the dimension you used for your height in your side panels. (Mine was slightly over 5 inches)
8. Cut drawer front covers if you would like those decorated also
Deducting .1 from you drawer set dimensions should work for most cardstock or cardboard
9. Glue on all your panels
10. Add brads to make it easy to open the drawers
Each drawer insert has a small hole on one side so make it easy to find the middle
